The Pawnee County Humane Society has started several programs to help the residents (both 2-legged and 4-legged) of Pawnee County. Please see below for what programs we currently have running. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Feral Cat Program (March 2009)- Trap/Neuter/Release program designed to help curb the feral cat population.

Summerlee Foundation Grant (April 2009) - Low cost spaying/neutering of cats and pit bulls, testing for feline leukemia/AIDS, and testing, spaying/neutering, and vaccinating feral cats.
